The veil of time
slips over the snow mice 
as pulsing silence loads
and pearls of dew 
freeze to crystal orbs;
sparkling in silver waves of
humming moonlight.

Hourglass sands
teleport north
to when this tundra cradled 
the same atoms in different vessels;
now energy dances into 
a dense quilt of deep snow.

Stars shoot arrows with
messages in morse code
to waterfalls that write back in 
spirals of twisted time;
created by a consciousness we can
only conceptualize 
when we’re still.

The snow mice cluster together, become one
with the swirling lights
of unseen dimensions, and 
tell legends of how 
it’s raining diamonds on Saturn.
