Issue Two: Aurora Submissions are Closed!

Soft Star's submission inbox is closed until the new year

Dear readers and contributors,

As of midnight last night, submissions for Soft Star Issue Two: Aurora are officially closed! Thank you to everyone who sent in their art and writing for this issue. I’ll be sure to send out all decisions as soon as possible. Given that it’s the holiday season, don’t be surprised if your wait time is slightly longer than my normal 1-7 day goal (though I’ll try my best to avoid this!)

Starting today, Soft Star’s submissions will be FULLY CLOSED for the holidays. This is intended to give me some time to get Issue Two’s print edition ready, as well as spend some quality time with family and friends. I’ll be back here in January to announce Issue Three’s theme and re-open submissions.

For now, enjoy the rest of Issue Two: Aurora here on Substack! I am so excited to have received so many beautiful contributions to Soft Star’s first themed issue, and I hope that you are reminded of the powerful yet ephemeral beauty of the aurora as you read them, especially as we approach the winter solstice here in the northern hemisphere.
