February 2024: A Month in Review

After a brief winter hiatus, we are gearing up for Issue Five!

Soft Star Magazine has some big changes in the works for 2024! We will be announcing the theme for Issue Five very soon, and submissions will open later this month. In the meantime, here are a few upcoming changes we want to share with you all.

New Subscriber Benefits

Exciting news for Soft Star subscribers: your subscription now affords you more benefits! Up until now, monthly subscribers received full versions of these month in review posts, while founding-tier members additionally received free copies of every print issue published during their membership. The new subscriber benefits are as follows:

Monthly subscribers

You’ll continue to receive full versions of these month in review posts, in addition to a free digital PDF version of every print issue that will now only be available to subscribers! Plus, you’ll receive a sticker and free copies of all mini-zines from our upcoming store (more on that later!)

Founding subscribers

You’ll receive all of the new monthly subscriber benefits IN ADDITION to free copies of every print issue.

If you’re already a paid subscriber, you don’t need to do anything to access these new benefits. If you’re a free subscriber and would like to upgrade and receive these new perks, you can edit your membership here:

Coming Soon: Soft Star Store

Since Issue One was published, Soft Star’s print editions have been available to purchase on Amazon. All past issues are still available there, but Korinne and I have made it our mission to set up an independent Soft Star Store online to sell print issues to readers directly, without Amazon taking a cut!
